2013 Señal Colombia - CM and social media strategist

Señal Colombia (Cultural and public TV channel)
Roles: Community Manager and Social Networks strategist
Time of labour: Mar. 2013 - Dec. 2014.
In 1 year and 10 months of work the brand had an organic increase of 1180% (without ads investment), from 14,000 in March 2013 to 165,000 in December 2014.
The maximum reach in a post was 732.400 people.
Twitter grew 80.6% from 124,000 followers to 224,000 in 1 year (March 2013 to March 2014). To describe it qualitatively, the goal of accumulating positive perceptions about the channel and its way of communicating in networks was achieved, attracting new young audiences (for which a new, colloquial, and fresh communication tone was proposed, focused on modern culture).
Some of the most important campaigns were proposed for an interviews and musical TV show called Conversaciones

Translation of the previous images:
- Rebel that who dances without thinking if someone is watching
Send a video with your dancing steps of the rebel cumbia and meet Puerto Candelaria band.
- Rebel that who dances just because!
Send us a video and enjoy Conversaciones with Puerto Candelaria this 28th of november.
- Rebel that who knows that dancing sets you free.
Send us a video tapping the rebel cumbia and meet Puerto Candelaria.

I also dealed some alliances with other brands. For this TV show with an afro music singer we made a posting exchange deal with an afro parties project called The university of Champeta (Champeta is the name of the genre) so we made this campaign to teach the channel users -through a digital dictionary of slangs- all the expressions that come from this culture of the Caribbean coast of Colombia.

We also used to publish photo grids to promote the movies of the film programming cycle corresponding to each week. This was a very successful action that gave us always many interactions: likes, comments and shares. Also a digital spot to talk with our community about their opinions, ideas, recommendations or doubts

For the promotion of the TV show with a traditional afro musical band from the colombian Pacific coast we convoked professional and amateur photographers who could show through their images the beauty of this zone. With the best images we made the 'Loving Pacific Coast' gallery and shared some of our users' work. We also invited the most liked ones to meet the artists in the TV show.

Other of the successful activities was this one created to promote the documentary TV series 'Anonymous extraordinary women'. We invited our users to tell us the stories of admirable women they know for their valuable community work and to share the ones they considered the most interesting so we could write a journalistic profile for each one and extend their stories and promote their projects.
